Association check MORE quality of life
The purpose of the MER Livskvalitet check was to improve living conditions for the people in Bergslagen. The goal was to implement at least eight sub-projects that contributes to our achieving the goal of ”Increased quality of life”. The result was 14 sub-projects which are presented below!
About the project
This project has been completed and has journal number 2024-1743 at the Swedish Board of Agriculture. The project results are presented below.
Defibrillator for Norberg's local history museum
CASE
The goal was to increase emergency preparedness at the Hembygdsgården visitor destination in Norberg, at the new Lapphyttan in Karlberg. A defibrillator was purchased and courses in cardiopulmonary resuscitation were conducted with the aim of increasing the quality of life for residents and visitors.

Accessible annual meeting with public lecture

The goal was to offer a presentation on disabilities on site and via video link at the 2025 annual meeting.

The goal was to conduct a study trip to Mölndal with the women's team IK Heros Bandy.

Trip to Hallwyl Museum

The goal was to to carry out a joint study trip to Hallwyllska the palace.
Purpose
The purpose wasis that learn about living conditions and the food around the turn of the last century.
The trip was connected to the work that was underway to write a book. about four women connected to Carbennation in Bergslagen. The book contains private recipe books and life choices.
Karbenning local community association
A thousand cultural centers
CASE
The goal wasis that arrange and invite speakers to the two-day conference A thousand cultural centers.
Purpose
The purpose was to exchange knowledge about the democratic and community-building function of cultural centers in Bergslagen.

Mingle evening for the hospitality industry about regenerative tourism

The goal wasis that hold a mingle evening with lecture about ”sustainable, regenerative tourism and the importance of the place”.
Purpose
The purpose of the project was to create collaboration between entrepreneurs and increase knowledge about regenerative tourism and how we can apply it in Bergslagen.
Organizer was The Skinnskatteberg Association's business network in collaboration with the municipalities in Norra Västmanland.

The goal was to develop group training for women. Training equipment was purchased.

The purpose of the training group is to increase social cohesion and create a sense of movement among the target group.
