Our wish is for the People's house in Kopparberg to become an obvious meeting place again and a house that can be used by many associations and individuals. The engagement exists for the house and we are slowly starting to build together where we stand. Welcome to participate in the activities organized in the project! The purpose is to create open conversations about the climate and the transition. Together with people around Bergslagen, we want to answer the question HOW we will solve the crises we are in, the climate, biodiversity, etc.
The project makes the cultivation activities at the Rikkenstorp farm accessible for preschools for educational purposes to increase knowledge and develop learning about food. The children, parents, and staff get to be involved in the entire cultivation process and create a relationship with it.
Many volunteer hours later, it is in place, the new Konsum museum in Riddarhyttan. The unique collection of historical Konsum items donated by S-O Andersson to the association and the story of cooperation can through this project live on for future generations.

From the central locality of Kopparberg to Bångbro, Ställdalen, Ställberg, Stjärnfors, Högfors, Hörken, and Yxsjöberg, villages and countryside are connected by nature, cultural heritage, and strong local anchoring.

Ekomuseum Bergslagen in collaboration with the Finnish administrative area and Leader Bergslagen is making a joint study trip to the eco-museum in Finland in the autumn of 2025.
Through the project, the foundation is laid for future collaborations and productions with the newly formed theater association. The young people get to be involved in all parts of the production, and with support from the adults, their long-standing dream comes true – to perform the musical Annie on stage.
Ludvika basketball wants to join the trend with 3x3 and establish a culture of music and basketball outdoors to build bridges between young people with a pleasant meeting place for a common interest. 3X3 is a game format where people can meet across ages, regardless of background and experience.

Ghost walks offer a unique opportunity for associations to reach and engage young people in association life, while the young people get to explore and learn about local history. The project creates meetings between young and older people, where the older generation passes on stories that risk being forgotten.
By renovating and adapting a barn of 600 sqm by Fåsjön, opportunities are created for visitors to enjoy food and community year-round, regardless of weather. With a focus on sustainability through energy-efficient solutions and collaboration with local actors, the project aims to make the area more attractive for both local residents and long-distance guests.…
