Bonnatösen roof for event room
Bonnatösen's Burgers is developing its business to become a year-round destination. By renovating and adapting a barn of 600 sqm by Lake Fåsjön, opportunities are created for visitors to enjoy food and community year-round, regardless of the weather. With a focus on sustainability through energy-efficient solutions and collaboration with local actors, the project aims to make the area more attractive for both local residents and long-distance guests.
About the project
The purpose of the project is to promote year-round entrepreneurship through business development at Bonnatösen AB in the Järnboås region.
The goal of the project is to prepare the current barn so that it can be used as a marketplace year-round.
The activities in the project include project planning and appropriate renovation of the barn's roof. The activities include strengthening the building and renovating the roof, marketing, and opening events.

Project manager Oskar Tigerström tells.
”Our project idea is deeply rooted in the experiences we have from running Bonnatösen's Burgers and meeting our guests, who are both local residents and long-distance visitors. Guests come not only for our renowned burgers but also because the place has a special atmosphere – a combination of beautiful surroundings and a cozy environment that makes them feel comfortable and want to stay longer.”

About the project
The LAG board has chosen to prioritize Bonnatösen's investment in the barn – for community year-round 2024–3355 with approval is a good way to develop the range of meeting places throughout the year in the leader area.
The project strengthens entrepreneurship in Leader Bergslagen through good cooperation in true Leader spirit between entrepreneurs, associations, and the municipality.
Justification support level: The support amount is a maximum of 200,000 SEK. Since the project benefits one or a few commercial activities, support can be obtained for 40–70 percent of the expenses that qualify for support.
