It is important to follow the information requirements from the EU. If a project is co-financed by the EU, the correct logo must be used, in the correct way. Are you in the least bit unsure? Ask the office for help.
”The ”EU logo” is an EU flag with the caption ”Co-financed by the European Union”. We at Leader Bergslagen have combined it with our own Leader Bergslagen logo so it will be easy for you to remember the EU flag.
The logo on websites and social media
The EU logo must appear in colour on web pages containing information about the project or investment. There must also be a short description of the project or investment, information about its purpose and results, and information that the money comes partly from the EU.
Detailed information on how to use the EU logo in the Strategic Plan can be found at Swedish Board of Agriculture website.

Dog Day poster. The EU logo must not be smaller than the other logos
Walpurgis Concert poster. It's just right on the pixel that the municipal logo is not bigger than the flag. A little more margin would have been good, but this is acceptable.

Think about this.
- If your project or investment receives EU support, you should use the logo with the subtitle Co-financed by the European Union.
- If your project or investment is aimed at an international market, there is an English variant, Co-funded by the European Union.
If other logos appear, in addition to the EU logo, the EU logo must be displayed at least the same size, in height or width, as the largest of the other logos.
- The EU logo must not be modified or merged with other graphic elements or texts. The text must not overlap the emblem.
- Apart from the EU logo, no other symbol or logo may be used to indicate EU support.
- The EU logo should always be placed against a white background. If you must have a colored background, the emblem should be surrounded by a white border.
