About the project

The purpose of the umbrella project C4C is simply to protect nature in Bergslagen. The project activities are unknown in advance. It is the project coordinator's task to draw out ideas from associations and organizations.

The project is called C4C

Umbrella project C4C, Communities for climate, is about providing space for discussions about the climate transition in Bergslagen.

Many want to contribute to increased biodiversity and reduced negative climate impact. But in our daily lives, we are stuck in patterns that force us into a dependence on fossil fuels.

In our leader area, we have the municipalities of Ludvika, Smedjebacken, Surahammar, Norberg, Skinnskatteberg, Fagersta, Hällefors, Ljusnarsberg, Nora, and Lindesberg. Our locations are far from the big city and its opportunities for, for example, good public transport. The city's solutions cannot always be applied to us here in the small towns. Life in the countryside has something else to offer. The transition movement is a positive force.

Your tasks

The Leader office has a routine for processing so-called Leader checks. What you would be tasked with is to ensure that we receive at least 8 really good applications that together lead to achieving the goals and purpose of the project.

Your time would be spent conducting meetings, both online and physically. Allow time for discussion. Help groups with ideas further in their development processes.

About the client Leader Bergslagen

Leader Bergslagen is a non-profit association whose purpose is to be a catalyst for locally led development in general and to conduct leader activities in particular. The association is of a non-profit, public benefit character without economic profit interest. Leader Bergslagen conducts activities within Leader 2023–2027 according to the local development strategy and the statutes approved by the Swedish Board of Agriculture and follows the rules applicable to leader associations.
