Environmental projects that have received support

We want to get more ideas with the aim of protecting the environment. So far, we have only had three project ideas approved: Climate adaptation of ski trails, Study visit to cooperative farms, Archiving project to bring cultural history to life. Perhaps you would like to arrange workshops and lecture evenings with an invited inspirer/climate psychologist/researcher?

The association check with the aim of protecting the environment has so far received the following project ideas approved:

Study visit to the Rikkenstorp cooperative farm.

Cost 23,300 SEK incl. VAT. Number of participants 25. The expenses in the project were for

  • Bus return to the destination.
  • Lecturer and refreshments on site. Food costs as the purpose was to talk about vegetable growing, and taste what was grown.

Climate adaptation of ski trails around Långmyra.

Cost 27,000 SEK incl. VAT. Sports club in Nyhammar, Ludvika. The expenses in the project were for

  • Timber for bridges and footbridges to protect bogs and wetlands.

Archiving project to bring cultural history to life.

Cost max 27,000 SEK incl. VAT. Local history association in Riddarhyttan. Skinnskatteberg. The expenses in the project were for

  • Filing equipment such as padded envelopes and glass plates.

Who can apply for the association check?

The check can be applied for by non-profit associations. There are two types of association checks. One with a focus ENVIRONMENT. One with focus QUALITY OF LIFE.

What costs can a project within the association check have?

The costs in a check must be linked to the activity you want to carry out. If you have investments in the project, the costs for them can be a maximum of 27,000 SEK including VAT. Very important limit to keep in mind! If you are interested in carpentry something where material + shipping + assembly exceeds the limit, then you should apply for a regular large leader project instead of a check. If your non-profit organization has non-VAT-liable activities, then you apply for project funds for costs including VAT.

Financing

  • The amount paid from Leader Bergslagen for the association check is a maximum of SEK 30,000.
  • The project should be of public benefit. That is, it should be available for Bergslag residents to participate in, benefiting the public.
  • 100% financing of the project cost from Leader.
  • 30% non-profit time as co-financing. Example. A project with expenses of 20,000 SEK should have approximately 27 hours of non-profit effort. For example, there could be 5 people working 6 hours each on the project.
