About the project

The LAG board has chosen to prioritize the boxing project A sporty Bergslagen with approval as this will be a new meeting place that increases the quality of life for many people in Lindesberg.

The demand is great and the project contributes to creating well-being, both mentally and physically. Through the project, the association will be able to offer training activities that benefit both young and old, integrated and newly arrived.

The LAG board believes that it is interesting to have a new project that aims to include the participants from start to finish. The participants learn theatre production and get to participate and influence the content throughout the project. The result will be a project that strengthens local democracy.

The project is considered public benefit as the benefit accrues to the public who gain access to a meeting place in the form of an association-run boxing gym. The project aims to increase integration and create meetings between different target groups. The project benefits the residents of rural areas.
