After the trip
”Ideas already exist about building an exhibition, in Finnish and Swedish, that deals with emigration and immigration with perspectives from both Finland and Sweden. That ”both sides” meet in one and the same story.
We have more thoughts and ideas, but expect these to find their form during and after the trip.”

About the project
The LAG board has chosen to prioritize Study and inspiration trip Bergslagen – Finland with approval as it will in its entirety lead to the achievement of the goals of the local development strategy. Specifically, this is a project that meets goals within the focus area Improve living conditions for the people of Bergslagen since the purpose is to promote the language and culture of minorities in Bergslagen.
The LAG board believes that the project can lead to new collaborations between the Finnishöthe administrative areas within the Leader Bergslagen area. There is a interesting point of contact between Mountaineering and others industrial historical sites around the EU, for example Finland. In addition, our countries have a long shared history.
Therefore, the LAG board sees this as a Good collaborative project between the Bergslagen Ecomuseum, the municipalities representatives and Leader Bergslagen themselves. One way to revivelto be the work with the minority language Finnish – in a Bergslag context.
