About the project
The LAG board has chosen to prioritize the project Young Glysar at camp Bergslagen with approval as increased cooperation between the cultural schools improves the living conditions for the children in Bergslagen.
Through a camp, students and teachers get to know each other, which facilitates continued collaboration, e.g. game days and concerts. A camp with overnight stays enables networking during and outside of the course sessions. The LAG board also motivates that food is of central importance when implementing folk music camps with overnight stays.
A music camp for young people helps to carry forward the folk music tradition.
The project is of public benefit and has a support level of 100% as the purpose is to implement a folk music camp with full board that childrenone can attend for free. This benefits residents of countryside.
