Smedjebacken Boat Club wants to develop youth activities in recreational boating. The project introduces GT10, a completely new competition class for children from 7 years of age and up.
About the project
The purpose of the project is to develop youth activities within recreational boating.
The goal of the project is for five GT10 boats to be in place and equipped with equipment.
The goal is also to carry out five try-out days and five training evenings.
The activities in the project are purchasing and preparing GT10 boats, as well as arranging try-out days and training evenings.

About the project
The LAG board has chosen to prioritize the project Unga på sjön with approval as the development of a new competitive sport in boating for young people meets the goals of the strategy and improves the living conditions for the residents of Bergslagen.
The project has a clear focus on creating new leisure activities for children. The LAG board believes that this is a fun project that will be of benefit to many children in the future, through trial days and test training.
The project is of public benefit and has a support level of 100% as the aim is to create a new youth activity in recreational boating for children. This benefits residents in rural areas.
The investment for which the project receives support must remain in place and be used for the same purpose for at least five years from the date of final payment.
