”The result will benefit everyone – the site analysis, the visual material and the manual.

It is a tool that the municipality, residents, companies, associations and other local actors can use in their own operations to communicate, market and develop their part of Ljusnarsberg. For example, in company recruitment advertisements where they talk about the place Ljusnarsberg.

It creates shared direction, clarity and pride in our place.”

About the project
The LAG board has chosen to prioritize Our place, our story with approval as it will in its entirety lead to the achievement of the goals of the local development strategy. Specifically, this is a project that meets goals within the focus area Promoting entrepreneurship as the communication manual and visual material that is produced is something that all companies will have access to.

The LAG board believes that the project has the potential to create stronger ties between the companies, associations and other actors in Ljusnarsberg municipality through the project's activities. The result will then be a shared story about the place to land in and carry forward - but the journey there is at least as important, thanks to the inclusive co-creative working method.

The project is of public benefit as the form of cooperation is inclusive and democratizing. The municipality leads the project, but the process is designed together with residents, associations and companies – and implemented in collaboration with professional actors. It is the rural residents who will benefit from the project.
