The Swedish Board of Agriculture already has parts of its IT system for Leader in place, but Leader Bergslagen has not yet received a formal decision to start. This means in practice that those who want to apply for project funding for the 2023-2027 programming period must wait for a response from Leader Bergslagen. The easiest way to get up-to-date information is to subscribe to the newsletter.

Support for projects within Leader
On January 3, 2023, project support within Leader will also open for applications. Leader is an abbreviation from French with the meaning of developing one's own countryside through a model where the private, non-profit and public sectors collaborate at a local level. There are 40 Leader areas around Sweden that are waiting for a decision to start their operations. Before applying for support, you should contact your local Leader area.
