Does the project fall within the framework of our strategy?

Cooperation

Should the project be carried out in collaboration between at least two of the non-profit, private and public sectors?
(For example, that representatives from both associations/municipalities are in the project group.)

Broad benefit

Will the project's expected results be of broad benefit, i.e. will they result in improvements for more than just those implementing the project?

Sustainable change

Can the implementation of the project lead to improving the environment and reducing climate impact in Bergslagen? For example, it could be initiatives that contribute to increased biodiversity, resource and energy efficiency, improved water quality or shorter supply chains.

Equality

Are the project's working methods and distribution of tasks designed so that women and men have equal opportunities to influence the design of the project, participate in its implementation and benefit from the project's results?

Non-discrimination

Have you thought about norm criticism and increased equality? It is an absolute requirement that no one is prevented from influencing the design of the project, participating in its implementation or benefiting from its results due to gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation or age. How can your project help combat discrimination?

Implementation capacity

Do you have an organized co-financing and plan for how the project could be implemented in practical terms?

Innovative thinking

Should the project be used to create development in various ways – not to support existing activities?

We provide money for activities that benefit people in rural areas within Leader Bergslagen's geographical area.
Summarize the idea.
Describe the purpose. The purpose must correspond to one of our three areas of focus, but ideas are especially welcome within Protecting nature in Bergslagen or Promoting entrepreneurship in Bergslagen.
Currently, many ideas have been submitted that are about business development. Significantly fewer ideas have been submitted that have the goal of developing new products, new services. We would like more ideas in this area.
Check to make sure that your project's activities have not already been implemented before. The Leader money will go towards developing new ideas.
