The offer of ERASMUS+ exchange with Leader Kuustaan in Finland
Leader Sixth offers youth exchange between Leader Bergslagen's young people and young people in their member municipalities. Our contact person there is Sanni Rinne and can be easily reached at sanni.rinne@kuudestaan.net.
Leader Kuudestan already has the financing ready – so what we need to do is:
- Find a group of at least 8 young people, a maximum of 15 young people. In addition, one or two adult leaders are needed to accompany you.
- Request a theme for the trip, such as rural challenges, environment, nature, forest tourism, language, etc.
- Gather young people from 14 years of age and up. These are matched with a group of Finnish young people of the same age.
- Consider a suitable time for the trip. The trip will take 7 days: 1 day trip to Finland, 5 days in place, 1 day trip home to Bergslagen.
- Handpick responsible young people for this who are a little adventurous! The trip will involve train changes, flights, language practice and will be a memory for a lifetime!
- Find young people who both want to go on a trip themselves and who will host the Finnish group at a later date and show them Bergslagen.
The opportunity exists during 2025 and the entire year 2026.

A little more info
Sanni Rinne, project manager at Leader Kuudestaan, has said that they already have funding ready for travel, accommodation and on-site events. They have extensive experience in arranging youth exchanges.
They cannot pay salaries to accompanying adults. However, they cover all the above-mentioned costs.
The only thing the young people need to bring with them is any pocket money.
The young people sign an agreement before departure to behave themselves and not take drugs, drink alcohol, etc. If they abuse this trust, they are immediately sent home at their own expense.
