The association check is smaller projects that you can apply for either the protection of nature in Bergslagen, or to increase the quality of life for people.
Who can apply for the association check?
The check can be applied for by non-profit associations. There are two types of association checks. One with a focus ENVIRONMENT. One with focus QUALITY OF LIFE.
What costs can a project within the association check have?
The costs in a check must be linked to the activity you want to carry out. The total cost of the project is max 30,000 SEK.
Note: If you have investments in the project, the costs for them may not exceed 27,000 SEK including VAT. A very important limit to keep in mind! If you are interested in crafting something where materials + shipping + assembly exceed the limit, then you should instead apply for a regular leader project. If your non-profit association has non-VAT liable activities, then you apply for project funds for costs. including VAT.
Financing
- The amount paid from Leader Bergslagen for the association check is a maximum of SEK 30,000.
- The project should be of public benefit. That is, it should be available for Bergslag residents to participate in, benefiting the public.
- 100% financing of the project cost from Leader.
- 30% non-profit time as co-financing. Example. A project with expenses of 20,000 SEK should have approximately 27 hours of non-profit effort. For example, there could be 5 people working 6 hours each on the project.

- Lecture evening, pay the lecturer
