About the project
The purpose of the project is to fulfill people's needs for community, self-esteem and self-realization by starting up a multi-activity hall for dogs, dog owners and dog entrepreneurs in Smedjebacken and Ludvika and the surrounding area.
The goal of the project is to create a meeting place that can be used for training and competition, as well as create a pleasant environment that can attract dog owners to the multi-purpose hall for socializing and getting together.
The goal of the project is also to create a new network between dog owners, dog associations, LSS, dog entrepreneurs and the tourism industry in Smedjebacken and Ludvika.
The activities in the project are the preparation of a multi-purpose hall through Investment and installation of surfaces and agility obstacle courses for dogs.

The investment for which the project receives support must remain in place and be used for the same purpose for at least five years from the date of final payment.

Decision justification
The LAG board has chosen to prioritize Happy and active dogs and dog owners with approval as it will in its entirety lead to goal achievement according to the local development strategy.
The LAG board believes that the project is a good way to contribute to increased quality of life for people in Bergslagen by offering a meeting place that is welcoming regardless of gender, age or disability.
