The Association Check Quality of Life AGAIN
The purpose of the check Quality of Life AGAIN was to improve the living conditions for the people in Bergslagen. The goal was to implement at least eight sub-projects that contributes to our achieving the goal of ”Increased quality of life”. The result was 14 sub-projects which are presented below!

Hang a swing in Fagersta
The project is called in its entirety ”Calm oases in Fagersta – hammocks in the nearby nature”
CASE
The project's goal is to place hammocks in the nearby nature around Fagersta.
Purpose
The purpose of the project is to attract people out into nature and thereby increase their quality of life.
Justification
”Hang a swing in Fagersta” is a fun and simple way to create low-pressure and easily accessible opportunities for rest and recovery in the nearby nature. Leader Bergslagen's board views positively on the combination of environmental projects and quality of life checks – by creating a relationship with their nearby nature, they want to protect it in turn.

Career evening for high school choosers

The project's goal is to carry out activities that highlight the positives of living in a small town.
Purpose
The purpose of the project is to increase the quality of life for young people in Fagersta and its surroundings.
The films showcase the opportunities of living and being professionally active in Bergslagen.
Art at Easter

The project's goal was to carry out a marketing effort in connection with the 15th anniversary of Art at Easter.
Purpose
The purpose of the project was to increase the quality of life for residents and visitors in Söderbärke and its surroundings. With the help of the marketing effort, artists and musicians could reach broader groups with their cultural activities this anniversary year.
If the crisis comes – Crisis preparedness in the housing cooperative
CASE
The project's goal is to purchase a defibrillator and generator for Brf Sundberget in Nora as part of the business development where the recently adopted crisis management plan is in focus.
Purpose
The purpose of the project is to increase the quality of life for the residents in Nora through strengthened crisis preparedness.
Justification
There is a demand for associations to contribute to taking courses and having equipment to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation when needed.
It is in Leader Bergslagen's interest to support associations that want to work voluntarily with civil society preparedness.
Kopparberg Gymnastics Association initial investment in competitive program
CASE
The project's goal is to start up the gymnastics activities with an investment in leotards and trampette.
Purpose
The purpose of the project is to increase the quality of life for children and young people in Bergslagen with an investment in competitive gymnastics in Kopparberg.
Justification
This is a new gymnastics activity that is being built up with Kopparberg as the center.
Leader Bergslagen views positively on being part of this process! We have previously granted feasibility study funding to the project, see Bergslagen aims for the stars.
Lecture series on local history and genealogy. How does one do it?

The project's goal is to arrange a lecture series on local history and genealogy in Nora.
Purpose
The purpose of the project is to provide an opportunity for the residents and visitors of Bergslagen to increase their knowledge about places and people they are connected to in various ways.
The association carefully selected knowledgeable and interesting speakers. The project strengthens interest in genealogy and local heritage and cultural history.
Football history in Degefors – a study trip

The goal was to conduct a study trip in the spirit of football history.
Purpose
The purpose of the project was to increase the quality of life and improve living conditions for Nora sports veterans through an interesting study trip.
Leader Bergslagen believes it is important to support initiatives that strengthen mental well-being among our elderly. People feel good having others around them – a shared journey is a great opportunity to meet new friends.
We meet at Koltrasten

The goal was to purchase technical equipment for the meeting place Koltrasten to be able to host speakers, presentations, and dance.
Purpose
The purpose was to attract new guests and increase the quality of life for the visitors of the meeting place Koltrasten.
The online magazine Korgen

The goal was to conduct a marketing campaign for the online magazine Korgen. The long-term goal is to increase interest in art monitoring in Bergslagen and surrounding areas.

The purpose was to increase the number of readers of the online magazine Korgen.

Maestro comes to the village
The evening's performance was unique, specially composed for this evening with a specially written text by Per-Arne Bengtsson. The story of Amanda ran like a red thread, performed by actors Anja Langré and Kenneth Risberg. The storytelling was interspersed with classical pieces for piano, Magnus's own compositions from Amandateatern from 1992, as well as famous arias.The soloists' remarkable voices nearly blew us out of the church pews! A couple of older gentlemen were seen fiddling with their hearing aids…It was nice to see the collaboration between the experienced world artist Magnus and the two young talented soloists. These girls we will hear about in the future!
Children's gymnastics in Karbenning

The project's goal was to purchase modern gymnastics equipment adapted for children's gymnastics.
Purpose
The purpose was to revive children's activities in the gymnasium and contribute to improved physical and mental health, joy of movement, and community among children in Bergslagen.
Justification
It is positive with a new generation that wants to practice gymnastics in Nickebo gymnasium in Karbenning. This increases the quality of life for the people in Bergslagen.
More hockey for all girls, women, and ladies.
CASE
The goal was to develop the women's recreational team and purchase loan equipment.
Purpose
The purpose of the project was to promote a more equal association life.
Justification
The project lowers the threshold and makes it easier for girls or adult women to try ice hockey. The project broadens the association's activities and leads to increased quality of life in Bergslagen.
Renovation of the dance floor in Älvhyttan.
CASE
The project was to renovate the dance floor in Älvhyttan to be able to organize dances this summer, such as bugg and linedance.
Purpose
The purpose was to increase the quality of life through a natural meeting place for music and dance. This activity is a restart, a joint effort for the newly ignited village community in Älvhyttan.
Revive AK Stålpojkarna.
CASE
The goal was to invest in technology and wrestling equipment to be able to offer physical training for children.
Purpose
The purpose was to develop the association.
Justification
It is close to the heart of the Leader Bergslagen board to have a variety of youth activities around Bergslagen. It is an important effort to support with money for some technical equipment and mats to make it easy to carry out activities with the children's group.
