Youth Check 4.0
The purpose of the YOUTH 4.0 project is to improve the living conditions of young people in Bergslagen. The goal is to implement at least 10 sub-projects that are about improving the living conditions of young people. The project consists of sub-projects.
About the project
We want to support you who want to realize project ideas that make life more wonderful for you and other young people!
The Youth Check finances 100% of actual expenses up to 20,000 SEK for small projects where the benefit accrues to young people. Approximately 30% in non-profit contributions is the return.
A selection committee at Leader Bergslagen prioritizes which projects receive funding. The project has journal number 2025-2012 at the Swedish Board of Agriculture.

About the project
2025-2012 YOUTH 4.0
The LAG board has chosen to prioritize the umbrella project YOUTH 4.0 with approval to respond to continued demand for these ”checks”. The umbrella project as a whole leads to goal fulfillment according to the local development strategy, as the sub-activities initiate networking and business development.
The LAG board believes that the umbrella project YOUTH 4.0 is good for supporting young people's new ideas. The Youth Checks have proven to be very popular among teenagers and young adults who want to realize project ideas locally together with other young people.
The sub-activities in the umbrella projects are appreciated by the young people as the administrative burden is less than with large Leader projects. In this way, EU funds become more accessible to the residents of Bergslagen.
The project is considered to be of public benefit as the aim of the project is to stimulate local development ideas among young people in Bergslagen. This benefits residents in the countryside.
