Leader Bergslagen har hittills tagit beslut om åtta leaderprojekt och sex checkar. Totalt rör det sig om 3,2 miljoner kronor som fördelas till aktiviteter som följer leadermetoden med samverkan och lokal förankring i fokus.

Then the first step is to test your idea to see if it fits the Leader template. After a project workshop with the office, you apply for funds via the Swedish Board of Agriculture's e-service. The LAG board then decides on prioritization using basic conditions and selection criteria which are presented on the website.

What does it mean that a project has been prioritized?
Det innebär att Leader Bergslagens styrelse sagt JA till att finansiera projektidén. Nu väntar handläggning hos Jordbruksverket för att få ett formellt startbeslut. Projekten som fått JA av styrelsen kan i väntan på sitt formella besluta starta projektaktiviteterna på egen risk. Väntetiden från det att man sökt pengar till att man får ett beslut är max 6 månader. For the checks är väntetiden betydligt kortare. Inom ett par veckor från att ansökan lämnats in vet man ifall aktiviteten är godkänd eller ej.
