Status för beslutade projektmedel september 2024

Leader Bergslagens styrelse har sedan starten våren 2023 fördelat över 20 miljoner kronor till 30 större projekt. Av dessa pengar är 3,2 miljoner avsatta för the checks, the smaller activities.

Then the first step is to test your idea för att se om den passar i Leader-mallen. Efter en projektverkstad med kansliet söker du medel via Jordbruksverkets e-tjänst.

LAG-styrelsen tar sedan beslut om prioritering med hjälp av grundvillkor och selection criteria som finns presenterade på sidan forms and info. Oxbron Cultivation Cooperative, Skinnskatteberg. Collaboration between non-profit association and municipality.

What does it mean that a project has been prioritized?

Det innebär att Leader Bergslagens styrelse sagt JA till att finansiera projektidén. Nu väntar handläggning hos Jordbruksverket för att få ett formellt startbeslut. Projekten som fått JA av styrelsen kan i väntan på sitt formella besluta starta projektaktiviteterna på egen risk. The waiting time from the time one applies for funds until one receives a decision is quite long. Guiding information is available at Swedish Board of Agriculture website on project support for locally led development through the Leader method. Leader's Office is at your service throughout the entire process.

For the checks är väntetiden betydligt kortare eftersom det hanteras av Leader Bergslagen lokalt. Inom ett par veckor från att ansökan lämnats in vet man ifall aktiviteten är godkänd eller ej. Checkarna hanteras av Verkställande utskottet (VU). Se calendar för beslutsmöten.

How long does it take to get a response from the Swedish Board of Agriculture?

Baserat på devisen ”keep it simple” har leaderkansliet lyckats pressa ner väntetiden hos Jordbruksverket. Ett invecklat projekt i ”vanliga” kön hos Jordbruksverket tar upp till 9 månader att handlägga, inklusive handläggningstiden hos lokala kansliet.

If project applicants do good preparatory work and listen to the board's input along the way - then we currently have a record of five (!) months from the day the applicant pressed "Review and submit" to the day the Swedish Board of Agriculture made its formal decision on approval.
